My name is Joan and I have over six years of experience supporting children in early years and primary settings, I am passionate about helping every child feel included, confident, and able to reach their full potential. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Educational Psychology and have completed several professional qualifications, including NCFE CACHE Level 3 SENCo, Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Dyslexia, Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), Teaching Assistant Training, Shadow Teacher Training, Child Protection and Safeguarding, TEFL, and First Aid & CPR. Throughout my career, I have supported students with a range of additional learning needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, speech and language delays, and social, emotional, and behavioural challenges. I have experience implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs), adapting learning activities, supporting positive behaviour, and working closely with teachers, specialists, and families to ensure students receive the support they need to succeed. What I enjoy most about this work is building meaningful relationships with children and seeing their confidence grow over time. I am patient, compassionate, and committed to creating a positive learning environment where every child feels valued and supported.
